1. Who is responsible for your data

My Italy Wedding Planner, run by Lara Severo and based in Rome, Italy, is the controller of the personal data collected on this website. Contact: myitalyweddingplanner@gmail.com.

2. What data we collect

Through the quote request form:

• Your names, email, WhatsApp, country of residence and Instagram (optional).
• Wedding details: year, approximate date, number of guests, regions, ceremony type, extra events, budget ranges, style and message.
• How you found us and your acceptance of this policy, with date and time.

Together with the request we also record the form language, the page you came from and any campaign parameters.

3. Work with us (planners and suppliers)

Through the "Work with us" page:

• Planners: name, email, phone (optional), professional link (optional), city, message and the files you send (CV). They reach our team by email and are not stored on the website.
• Suppliers: company name, contact person, email, phone, website and social media, languages, regions covered, packages, prices, payment terms and message. They are kept in our system for review; we do not ask for bank details in this form.

We use this data only to assess a possible collaboration and to get in touch. If there is no collaboration, it is deleted after 12 months.

4. How we use your data

To reply to your quote request, prepare a tailor-made proposal and keep in touch about your wedding planning. We do not sell or share your data for advertising.

5. Legal basis

We process your data based on your consent and on pre-contractual steps you request (Article 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR).

6. How long we keep it

We keep the data while we talk about your wedding and, if you hire us, for as long as the law requires. If no contract follows, request data is deleted after 12 months.

7. Who we share it with

We use providers that process data on our behalf, under contract and with security measures:

• Cloudflare: website hosting, spam protection and cookie-free visit statistics.
• Supabase: secure storage of your request in our system.
• Resend: email delivery.
• Google: the quote request form (Google Forms) and the spreadsheets where requests are stored.

8. Cookies

This website uses no tracking or advertising cookies. Visit statistics are collected without cookies. Your browser only stores your language choice.

9. Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, portability and restriction of your data, object to its processing and withdraw your consent at any time by writing to myitalyweddingplanner@gmail.com.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date of the last update is always shown at the top of the page.
